The newly envisioned Union Waterfront project, set on 1.5 acres, is planned as a multi-phased residential development with a retail component that brings connectivity between the picturesque Port Dalhousie waterfront and the City. The new pavilion creates an inviting walkway down to the waterfront, beaches and marina, while the residential component respects its heritage surroundings.
With an emphasis on materials and massing, the 170 residential units will range from 550 sf to over 1000 sf, each with balconies or terraces that will offer breathtaking views across the lake. The 12-storey building will offer ground floor retail that opens up into the pavilion and along the main street fronts, creating a vibrant community for residents and locals to enjoy all year round.
Developed by Fortress Real Developments, the project has retained Kirkor Architects to design the building, Land Art Design as the landscape architect and GBCA as the heritage architect. The planner on the project is IBI Group.
